Beards Are Back!

More and more I'm seeing models with beards, especially mature gents with white and grey beards (They look great with a suntan on the over 40's)

There's some great looking guys out there sporting the bearded look, even royalty (Photos include - Model Aiden Shaw, Men's fashion Icon Nick Wooster,

I've recently bought a couple of great books filled with stylist people.  They're by Scott Schuman 'The Sartorilist' and have many photo's of everyday men and women who dress with 'Street Style'.

They're well worth a look and make a good coffee table book for visitors to flick through.

An American Influence - Cufflinks

Shoes For Every Occassion - Dr Martens 1461

I'm a big fan of Dr Martens shoes and wear them most days.

Their 1461 style is a classic that will go with almost any clothing.  They look good with both smart and casual wear.

These were very popular in the 1980's / 1990's and appear to be making quite a comeback right now.

Living The 'High-life'! Manchester's Beetham Tower

Fancy living the 'High-life'?  If you have £3,750,000 to spend you could buy an apartment in Beetham Tower, Manchester.  Ex-Manchester United star Phil Neville's Tri-plex apartment is up for sale, or you could rent it for £15,000 a month!

The Beetham Tower is the tallest building in the UK outside of London.  The lower floors are better known as the Manchester Hilton Hotel whilst the upper floors are residential private apartments.

Fancy the 'High-life' without spending a fortune?

The Hilton Hotel has a bar 'Cloud 23' open to the public on the 23rd floor.

I'd check their website and make reservations, if necessary, before setting out.  You can just turn up but there can be a long wait to get in.  Twilight is the best time for a fantastic view - Still light enough to see, but dark enough for the many other building's lights to come on and illuminate the beautiful Northern city of Manchester.

Barbour Baker and Loake Chester 2

I love great designs and items with an American 'Stars and Stripes' theme.
